Retool / Full-Stack Developer

Department
Internal Tools
Location
Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
Work mode
Hybrid
Type
Full-time
Experience
2–5 years

About the role

You’ll build internal tools that clients’ operations teams live in every day — admin panels, approval workflows, support consoles — primarily in Retool, wired to real production databases and APIs. When a tool outgrows Retool, you’ll help rebuild it in React, so this role keeps your conventional full-stack skills sharp too.

What you’ll do

  • Build and ship Retool apps connected to PostgreSQL, warehouses and third-party APIs
  • Design role-based access, audit logging and approval workflows that survive compliance review
  • Write the JavaScript and SQL that makes tools fast and correct, not just functional
  • Talk to the client’s ops team, understand their real workflow, and push back when the requested tool won’t fix it
  • Contribute to conventional Django/React builds between tool projects

What we’re looking for

  • 2–5 years in full-stack or internal-tools development
  • Strong SQL and JavaScript fundamentals — Retool experience is a plus, not a requirement; we’ll train and certify you
  • Product sense: you ask why before building what
  • Clear written and spoken English for direct client communication

What you get

  • Retool certification paid for, plus AWS or Databricks certification if you want to branch out
  • Short, satisfying delivery cycles — tools go live in weeks, not quarters
  • Direct client exposure from your first project
  • Structured US/EU timezone overlap, async everything else
